National Scientific Center «Hon. Prof. M. S. Bokarius Forensic Science Institute» Took Part in the Evaluation of ICMP Activities in Ukraine

On 5 June 2025, a representative of the National Scientific Center «Hon. Prof. M. S. Bokarius Forensic Science Institute» of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, Tetiana Droshchenko, Sector Head for International Cooperation and Foreigners’ Affairs, participated in the mid-term evaluation of the work in Ukraine of the International Commission on Missing Persons (ICMP). The evaluation is being conducted with the support of the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad).

The interview was carried out by a representative of Voluntās, a global organization and the world’s first company to systematically research and assess the relevance and impact of international institutions.

The aim of the initiative was to provide an objective evaluation of ICMP’s achievements in Ukraine, analyze the experience gained, identify key challenges, and develop recommendations for the further implementation of ICMP’s strategy in the field of missing persons investigations. The assessment also considers the potential for scaling up ICMP’s operations to maximize its support in the process of accounting for missing persons during wartime.
